A crowd of some 100 journalists, as well as near all our partners, came to the Continental Hotel for an important press conference featuring the Polish-born F1 star Robert Kubica. The event marked the official launch of the new large-size DS Podium in Poland. Held in a clever and original talk-show style, the official proceedings, interview and films drew much interest. For entertainment, a mini F1 track had been set up and saw various opponents test their model-car driving skills. Certina's Adrian Bosshard was ruthlessly set up against Robert, to everyone's great enjoyment, and journalists and retailers also tested their talents. Adrian used the occasion to offer Robert a specially dedicated unit from the new DS Podium series, complete with personalised engraving on the case back. The PR Event was the year's biggest watchmaking industry event in Poland.
